Zahna’s new effort is a head jolting worthy lyrical rollercoaster. The kind of coaster you enjoy, while still being thrown around your seat with the ups-and-downs of each track hitting your eardrums.
The female rocker gets the electronic rock ride moving with “Death At Dawn,” while quickly reminding the listener that they have a personal calling with “This Is Your Calling”. But Stronger Then Death has a punch in the face waiting for the brave taker with other probable music lover favs like the title cut, “Die For Something,” and “Promise You’re Coming Home.”
The whole album screams of the underlying promise of something better, while being completely real about the crushing difficulties of life. And Zahna has experienced her portion of both. Give this one a full listen – especially if you’re up for a full spin that will take a little more than your normal wooden coaster ride.
February 1 saw the festival's quickest sell out of Jfest's Tier 1 tickets in their 23-year history. According to event director Ted Gocke, talking to the Chattanooga Times Free Press, second tier tickets are also selling quickly.
